The countdown is on! Only a few days to go until the second season of the Lakeview Farmers’ Market begins. Located at 1352 Lakeshore Rd in Mississauga, the Lakeview Farmers’ Market is a vibrant community farmers’ market run at the historic Small Arms Inspection Building outdoor site from May 30th to October 10th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm every Sunday.
For food lovers, the Lakeview Farmers’ Market is home to Sun-Ray Orchards, Earth & City, and a rotating food booth, with different vendors every week, as well as local favourites such as Fresh and Tasty Mushrooms, Son-in-Law Farmers, Gamble Farms Microgreens, Lady Cone Hopyard, Polonée Distillery, Stonehooker Craft Brewery Joanne’s Urban Pantry, and many, many more. At the Lakeview Farmers’ Market you’ll find local, organic, sustainable, and artisanal products, including fresh produce, small batched products, meats, fresh baked goods, preserves, jams, maple syrup, and artisan products.
Be sure to pick up a cup of Art of the Bean, Lakeview Farmers’ Market very own free-trade coffee, and get a glimpse of some of the best of what Mississauga’s local farmers, growers, producers, and artisans have to offer! Spend your morning picking up some fresh seasonal produce, exploring the historic arsenal grounds, and enjoying the fresh air.
